As expected the newly appointed Secretary of State for exiting the EU, David Davies has hinted that we are unlikley to see wholesale changes to employment law as a result of the decison to leave the EU.

He has made the point that it isn't employment legislation that creates a barrier to growth but rather other market related regulations.

Judging from David Davies comments, concerns raised by some including Jeremy Corbyn that a Brexit would lead to a removal of many employee rights are unwarranted and there are no plans for a significant overhaul of employment legislation as some commentators had predicted.
